Program Director

Shift: 5:30am to 12:30 M-F and 7:00am to 9:00am Saturday and Sunday
Location: Lumberton Treatment Center
Supervisor: Medical Director

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Attend CARF Training yearly and report to sponsor and medical director any changes in accreditation standards. Responsible for reporting the patient census monthly to the sponsor, medical director and State Opioid Authority to follow best practice in relation to adequate staffing for patient population. To attend quarterly State Opioid Authority meetings to stay abreast of changes in the field and State updates and to communicate any findings to the staff, sponsor and medical director. To manage a log of all supplies and receipts. TO manage purchases for snacks, toner and ink cartridges for printers, fax and copier, trash bags, paper, photocopies of pamphlets, etc. Log attendance of employees including sick days and vacation days. Coordinate computer, phone, heating and A/C service, electrical service, and alarm service and support. Check that safe and pharmacy are locked at close of business. Ensure and coordinate that blood work and urine drug screens are sent out daily and/ or left in drop boxes as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBLITIES: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. Gather all bills weekly and make sure they are delivered to sponsor. Review lab bills for urine drug screens and blood work to ensure bills are accurate for test, price and patient. Verify daily balance, send daily report to sponsor and make accurate and daily deposits at the bank. Retain all deposit transaction copies from the bank and give weekly to the sponsor. Respond to any alarms at the facility where the police are dispatched. Attend and act as secretary keeping accurate and thorough notes of all staff meetings, treatment team meetings and nursing meetings. Organizes and distributes patient satisfaction surveys and report results to Sponsor and medical director. Participates in quality improvement assessments as it relates to customer service and satisfaction. Identifies need for additional or staff in accordance with state and SAMSHA expectations. Prepares and runs advertisements for new employees as needed. Schedules interviewing process of new employees with sponsor and medical director. Organizes food Keeps community resource notebook for coordination of patient requests and decision. Utilized skills to network with other agencies and develop an open communication with referral sources.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises the daily functioning and staffing of the treatment program. Supervises the productivity of staff, in addition to, performing annual staff reviews and needs for job improvement.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Nursing, Counseling, or Social Work. Preference to applicants with LCAS, LPC, LCSW licensure. Preference to applicants with Medicaid experience. Preference to applicants with experience working in an Opioid Treatment Program. The ability to work independently as well as with the team. The ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and follow best practice.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret bills and reports. Ability to respond to regulatory agencies. Ability to oversee productivity of staff. Ability to effectively present information to sponsor. Ability to represent company and treatment program in a professional manner.

Receptionist
Summary: Responsible for quality care of clients and visitors at the front desk. Reports to Program Director applicable client information pertaining to the collection of client payments. Maintains client confidentiality in federal laws.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Accurately checks in clients with accurate collection of payments
• Balances cash drawer and reports summary to Program Director.
• Greets clients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Answers phones and takes messages as necessary.
• Updates client job board daily.
• Basic office tasks to include: date entry, copying, filing, and faxing.
• Report to Program Director when supplies are needed.
• Participation in weekly Treatment Team meetings

Qualifications: High School Diploma with at least one-year customer service/ front desk experience. If in recovery, at least 3 years continuous sobriety required. Ability to work independently as well as with the team. Ability to maintain high level of professional ethics.

Licensed Practical Nurse
Qualification requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse license required from accredited school. Valid North Carolina nursing license. Ability to work independently as well as with the treatment team, ability to maintain a high level of professional ethics and confidentiality as outlined by Federal Law. CPR, First Aid.

Essential duties and responsibilities: Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned. Completes patient health history and physical. Monitors the demeanor of the patient in the phase of induction to the medication and during all medication administration. Identifies and reports the Medical Director any critical incidents. Observe urine drug screens. Participates in screening of potential patients. Assist Medical Director in crisis interventions. Performing educational sessions with patients. Administer medication based on medical orders. Maintain management of
medication inventory. Oversee supplies of nursing unit. Follows state and federal guidelines governing Opioid Treatment Programs. Participation in weekly Treatment Team meetings and staff meetings.

Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist
Preference for individuals currently in the NC TRACKS system and credentialed in the catchment area (LME) of the posting clinic.

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Uploading of documentation for Medicaid authorization
• Participation in weekly Treatment Team meetings and Staff meetings

Requirements for position:
• Preferred fully licensed LCAS
• Medicaid experience
• Weekday/ Weekend availability
• Experience working in medication assisted treatment settings
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong crisis management skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Candidate must have strong organizational skills
• Candidate must be self-motivated

CSAC-I must be fully certified within 26 months of date of employment.
